When technology works, it is an amazing and transformative enabler to our business operations and daily lives. When it stops working, it is a source of incredible frustration and, in worst cases, can lead to the unraveling and downfall of a company.
Scott saw technology’s role as a company lifeline when he was working in the automotive parts distribution business. He was an early adopter and advocate of Cloud solutions and cybersecurity measures, understanding how these solutions could accelerate business opportunities for the small and medium sized businesses in our community.
This led him to found Fusion Technology Solutions, a full-service managed services provider in the North Bay, in 2001. As CEO and President, it is Scott’s aim to help his clients optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations through technology, in making sure that technology delivers on the business strategy.
Along with a degree in Computer Science, Scott has been certified in a variety of platforms and solutions, including CAPM, Cisco CCDP, Cisco CCNA, Comp TIA Net+, Microsoft MCP and Microsoft MCSE as well as many other certifications. He has been on many IT councils for Fortune 1000 companies and IT startups. He has spoken for various IT startups at large industry conferences and is considered one of the leading experts on Cloud technology and business alignment.
Scott is an active contributor to Healdsburg’s community through his present and past memberships in the Healdsburg Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, and his mentorship of Healdsburg High School juniors through the schoolwork placement internship program. He is a frequent columnist in the NBBJ, having published an article on training your employees in Cybersecurity as well contributing to various IT related articles for various outlets.
